It's intriguing enough that I've decided it's a necessary re-read. I didn't love Fahrenheit 451 when I read it in high school, but I don't remember hating it either.
After my third read of Ender's Game recently (review to come), I'm realizing my tastes have changed. -Dare we say they're becoming more sophisticated?-
Are you looking forward to the adaptation?
What do you think of the trailer?
I felt the same, didn't mind it either way.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see whether my opinion's changed.
DeleteThis is the first I've seen of it, and I haven't read the book, but the trailer does look good.
ReplyDeleteHere's to a potentially interesting show!
DeleteYou know how I whine about complex books becoming simple action movies. I am very skeptical. However--I like the book, and I saw the 1966 film adaptation in college, and I liked that one pretty well, too. Actually, this is a pretty good book to read while keeping in mind V For Vendetta...
ReplyDelete*attention grabbed!* I hadn't even considered the V For Vendetta angle, but dude! I am also now interested the '66 adaptation, because any adaptation that gets a 'like' from you obviously did something right!
